STA

STA: Scanpath Trend Analysis

This PhD work introduces a novel algorithm called Scanpath Trend Analysis (STA) for identifying a representative path of multiple individual scanpaths on a particular web page in terms of its visual elements. The STA algorithm is designed to identify a trending path, not a shared path. It allows a richer understanding of how users interact with web pages. This PhD work won Outstanding Thesis Prize at the University of Manchester.
